National Pig Day is coming!

It's not Bacon Day, but it's the next best thing. This is the first year that I have heard of national pig day and it seems to be a perfect time to try out those new recipes before showcasing them at this year's Bacon Day. Let us know which ones you found to be a hit.

Almost as long as there has been Bacon Day, there has been talk about a bacon Ice cream. Well here you can see Bacon and Eggs ice cream being made. Let us know if you try it, and what you think. Is this a must have on Bacon Day? 

Bacon Day Basics

Each year the bacon day party held in Boulder has grown and grown. Although it is a bit early to start planning the party, it's not to early to decided if you are going to throw one. In this post we will cover the basics. 

Things you need to throw a Bacon Day Party:

1. Bacon (or bacon substitute)
2. Something to cook bacon
3. Something to drink with the bacon
4. Friends and/or family to help eat the bacon
